Mark Cousino Mark Cousino leads a team of 68 employees and contractors and is responsible for managing over $55 million in assets safely, reliably and profitably. He joined DTE Energy when MCN Energy merged with the company in 2001. Prior to his current role, he held several positions within DTE Energy Services, a DTE Energy subsidiary that develops, owns, builds and operates energy projects for industrial, commercial and institutional customers and power generation facilities. Along with serving as director of business development, Cousino also oversaw the day-to-day operations of the company’s successful Section 29 synthetic fuel business unit. Cousino was previously employed with Conoco Inc. for 10 years where he held both domestic and overseas engineering, operations and business development assignments. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering.

Gary S. Quantock
Gary Quantock oversees day-to-day operation of DTE Biomass Energy's Landfill Gas-to-Energy projects, producing electric power, high Btu gas and medium Btu gas. He joined the Landfill Gas-to-Energy industry in 1980 as an employee of Reserve Synthetic Fuels, developers of the nation's first commercial scale high Btu landfill gas processing facility in Palos Verdes, California. Quantock joined DTE Energy Services in 1997 as Vice President of Operations and Asset Management with a broad-based client list including power generation, processing of pulverized fuels, coke manufacturing, wastewater treatment and district heating and cooling. He joined DTE Biomass Energy late in 2008. Quantock earned a Bachelors degree in geological sciences from Harvard University and a Masters in Business Administration from Rutgers University.

Lou Wilkinson
Lou Wilkinson is responsible for the development of new Landfill Gas projects, including the negotiation of landfill gas rights and purchase agreements, energy sales agreements and new project financial analysis. He has over 25 years of project development and management experience in the energy, solid waste and landfill gas industries. Prior to joining DTE Biomass Energy, Wilkinson was business manager for American Ref-Fuel where he was responsible for marketing disposal services to commercial and municipal customers, the sale of electricity to utility customers, public and community relations, and contractual relationships with landfill owners and municipal authorities. In addition, he has managed the development of a $300 million waste-to-energy facility for American Ref-Fuel and managed the landfill gas business for Air Products and Chemicals. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering and a Masters in Business Administration from Lehigh University, and a Master of Science degree in chemical engineering from Pennsylvania State University. |
